This page was created in dedication to my mother Pani Chapman.
Pani suffered from a stroke in January and as a result was left completely paralysed on one side of her body for several weeks. Nine months later Pani is still in the process of relearning basic functions that the majority of us learnt how to do when we were a baby.
After realising how much I take for granted the physical capabilities that the majority of us possess, I have decided to run the Melbourne Half-Marathon to raise money to help other people who have gone through a similar experience that my mother has and who are currently on the road to recovery.
5/10 of Pani's children will be participating in either the Melbourne Half-Marathon or the Melbourne Marathon to support this cause.
Please help me help the Stroke Foundation by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about Stroke Foundation, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
